How to Sign in to Microsoft 365 in Workstorm

What is Workstorm’s Microsoft 365 Integration? 

Workstorm allows you to integrate Microsoft 365 Email, Calendar and OneDrive files out-of-the-box. Access your inbox and compose new emails, create events and view your daily, weekly, and monthly schedule, and upload and re-share OneDrive files, all with Workstorm’s Microsoft 365 integration.  

Signing in to Microsoft 365 

To sign into Microsoft 365 in Workstorm: 

  1. Click the Settings icon in the top right-hand corner of your app 
  1. Click Accounts under Personal Settings 
  1. Scroll down to Microsoft 365 and click Login to Microsoft 365 
  1. Enter your Microsoft account credentials 
  1. Review and accept the security permissions, if applicable 

You will now be automatically logged in to Microsoft Outlook and OneDrive. If you would like to sign in to one of these features individually, you can do so by following the steps listed below. 

Signing in to Outlook Email 

  1. In Workstorm, click the Email icon on in the left sidebar 
  1. Click Sign in and enter your credentials 
  1. Review and accept the security permissions, if applicable 
  1. Your Outlook menu will appear in the left sidebar. Your mirrored inbox will load into the main Email window.

Signing in to Outlook Calendar 

  1. In Workstorm, click the Calendar icon in the left sidebar 
  1. Click Add Microsoft 365 Calendar and enter your credentials 
  1. Review and accept the security permissions, if applicable 
  1. Confirm your scheduled Outlook events load into Workstorm’s Calendar

Note: If you don’t see a Calendar icon on your left side bar, you’ll need Company Admin privileges to enable the app. Click here to learn about creating a company and gaining Admin rights on Workstorm. 

Signing in to OneDrive 

  1. Find and click Files in the left sidebar 
  1. You will see a list of document management systems (Box, Dropbox, iManage, OneDrive, and Google Drive). 
  1. Click OneDrive. You will be prompted to login if you haven’t signed into Calendar or Email yet 
  1. Review and accept the security permissions, if applicable 
  1. Once logged in, the open tab will display your OneDrive directory, files, and folders

Enabling Microsoft 365 App Integration 

If members of your Company are unable to sign in to Microsoft, the app integration may not be enabled. Below are steps to enable your O365 integration as a Workstorm Company Admin: 

  1. Click the Settings icon in the top right-hand corner of your app 
  1. Click Apps under Organization Settings 
  1. Enable the Outlook 365 Integration for Email, Calendar and OneDrive 

Once the app is enabled, all members of your Company can access their mirrored Outlook and OneDrive accounts.
