How to Start a Video Conference on the Mobile App

Workstorm allows users to start and join a Video Conference via the mobile app, available for both Apple and Android. On mobile, there are two ways to start a Video Conference.

To call individual users: 

1. In the menu ribbon at the bottom of the screen, tap the Start a Call button.
2. In the Conference Call Settings pop-up, toggle your camera and microphone on or off.
3. Click Save Settings.
4. Type and tap the names of people you would like to invite from the pop-up window.
5. Tap the Invite button in the top-right corner of the screen.
6. Invited users will receive notifications on both Mobile and Desktop apps, asking them to join the Video Conference.

To call a Channel or Direct Message: 

1. Tap on the Channel or Direct Message that you would like to call.
2. In the menu ribbon at the bottom of the screen, tap the Start a Call button.
3. Members of the conversation will receive notifications on both Mobile and Desktop apps, asking them to join the Video Conference.
