How to Organize Messages with Folders

Workstorm makes it easy to organize Channels, Direct Messages, and Announcements into Folders

To create a Folder

  1. Click the Messages icon in the left-sidebar 
  1. In the top-right corner of the sidebar, click +Add 
  1. Select New Folder 
  1. Enter a name for the Folder 
  1. Click Create 
  1. Click on the ellipses next to the Folder name and click Add Channel/DM 
  1. In the Add to Folder pop-up window, search for the relevant Channels, Direct Messages, and Announcements 
  1. Check the boxes next to the name of each conversation 
  1. Click Add 
  1. Click on the Folder to toggle it open and closed 
  1. Create additional Folders to better organize your Workstorm
