Workspaces place multiple conversations into one customizable dashboard. These dashboards enable you to organize many ongoing Direct Messages and Channels into broad, related categories or topics, such as by project or by client.
To create a Workspace:
- Click the blue New+ button at the top-left corner of the screen and select Workspace
- Enter your desired name
- Choose an icon to represent the Workspace
- Click Create
- In the Messages tab of the Edit Workspace pop-up menu, toggle the Channels, Direct Messages, and Announcements relevant to the purpose of this specific Workspace
- In the Settings tab, select from a suite of Layout and Icon options. You can also rename your Workspace, if needed
- Click Save
- Your Messages will be arranged in the layout that you just chose. To further customize your Workspace:
- Drag and drop the tiles to new homes within the window
- Click and drag the tile corners to reseize the conversations
- Create and customize your Workspaces to remain organized and focused on your projects
