How to Manage Channel Members 

Channel Administrators are members of a Channel who have administrative permissions. They can promote and demote other members, invite new members, and adjust the privacy settings of that Channel.

To promote or demote a Channel member: 

1. Click on the Messages icon in the left sidebar 

2. In the Messages sidebar, click into the relevant Channel 

3. In the right sidebar, select the Settings icon 

4. In the Members tab of the Settings pop-up window, locate the person who you would like to promote or demote 

5. To promote from Member to Admin, check the Admin box. To demote from Admin to Member, uncheck the Admin box 

6. In the bottom-right of the window, click Update Members
