How to Leave a Direct Message or Channel

When a Direct Message or Channel has served its purpose, you may choose to leave and remove it from your Messages sidebar.

To leave a Direct Message or Channel: 

1. Click on the Messages icon in the left sidebar. 

2. Locate the relevant DM or Channel.

3. Click on the ellipsis icon to the right of the DM or Channel name.

4. Click Leave, then Confirm. 

Alternatively: 

1. Click into the relevant DM or Channel.

2. In the right sidebar, click Settings.

3. In the pop-up, click on the Settings tab and click Leave, then Confirm.
