How to Leave a Direct Message or Channel 

When a Direct Message or Channel has served its purpose, you may choose to leave and remove it from your Messages sidebar. 

To leave a Direct Message or Channel: 

1. Click on the Messages icon in the toolbar on the left 

2. Locate the relevant DM or Channel 

3. Click on the three dots next to the DM or Channel name 

4. Select Leave 

5. Click Confirm 

Alternatively: 

1. Click into the relevant DM or Channel 

2. In the right sidebar, click Settings 

3. In the pop-up, click on the Settings tab and click Leave 

4. Click Confirm
